Golden Energy Offshore is a fully integrated shipowner and operator of modern and high spec offshore service vessels for the global oil and gas service industry.

The company’s activity has grown significantly over the last  years and from operating two vessels in 2007, Golden Energy Offshore Management (GEOM) operates 7 vessels and Golden Energy Offshore Services ASA(GEOS) own and operate 7 vessels. The Company's fleet with an average age of approx 8 years, includes modern sophisticated large size supply vessels of ST 216L design,  PX121H design.

Golden Energy Offshore´s strategy is to maintain customer focus and deliver high and predictable quality services in accordance with customer demands. Same focus apply when actively develop services in close co-operation with existing and new customers.

Golden Energy Offshore have over the last years worked closely with equipment providers to develop, pilot and test several pilot project with the focus on energy efficiency, emission reduction and achieved measurable carbon reduction in our operations.

The Company will aim to, where it is possible to achieve cost effective operations with an optimal return for investors.

Our history

95 years of shipping experience

Golden Energy Offshore, with a history dating back in excess of 95 years, is a well-established fully integrated ship owning ,shipping and offshore service company. Formerly called S. Ugelstad Rederi AS, the company was acquired by Aries in February 2007 and resold to Golden Energy in July 2010.

Our operations are performed with the greatest focus on health, safety, quality and environmental performance. This is achieved by following our Safety and Quality Management System with detailed procedures for all standard operations.

Golden Energy Offshore is an owner and operator of modern support vessels for the global oil and gas industry. The Company aim to grow it’s fleet of advanced offshore service vessels.

The Company’s strategy is to maintain it's position as a preferred supplier of offshore services to the oil & gas and renewable industry based on quality and reliability, by providing safe cost and efficient solutions by continuous close cooperation with customers.
